California Fresh, Guaranteed!
Welcome to the Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Association!
Formed as a not for profit farmers’ cooperative in 1985, the Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Association (VCCFMA) operates five weekly farmers’ markets…two in Ventura, one in Thousand Oaks, one in Santa Clarita, and one in Pleasant Valley/Camarillo. Following our mission, the VCCFMA markets bring you the freshest, local fruits, vegetables, bakery items, eggs, nuts, honey, potted plants and cut flowers, all at the peak of season and DIRECT from responsible California family farmers.
To participate in a VCCFMA market all farmers and producers must raise, catch, gather, grow or otherwise produce the product they sell. All other food producers must bake, cook or otherwise produce the food items they want to sell. The VCCFMA does not allow commissioned sales, wholesale merchandise, resale products, or booths inside the market for solicitation purposes of any kind.
Market Application Process and Acceptable Market Products are explained on our membership application pages on the “About” tab above.
EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) services now offered at all the Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Markets, including Santa Clarita!
